A RESOLUTION QRffiiBG IMFROVEMENTr APPROVAL OF PLANS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: FRIDLEY
O"U IITY PARR SPOM i•TGHTIM; PROJECT
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed to be in the
interest of the City of Fridley.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridleyr
Anoka Countyr Minnesota as follows:
1. That the following proposed improvements are hereby ordered to be
' effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
Overhead Lighting for the Playing Fields in the Fridley Community
Park
That the work involved in said improvements as listed above shall
hereafter be designated as:
2. The plans and specifications prepared by the Consultant for these
improvements are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City
Clerk.
The Public Works Director shall accordingly prepare and cause to be
inserted in the official newspaper advertisements for bids upon the making
of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published for three (3) weeks (at least 21 days) ,
and shall specify the work to be done and will state that bids will be
opened and considered at 11:30 a.m. on the 14th day of December 1982 in
the Council Chambers of the City Hall, and that no bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the Public Works Director, and accompanied by
a cash deposit, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City for five
percent (58) of the amount of such bid. That the advertisement for bids
for FRIDLEY OOMM NITY PARK SPORTS LIGHTING PRQ7ECT shall be substantially
' in the standard form.
