WHEREAS, the Cities of Fourmies, France, and Fridley, U.S.A., have entered
into an agreement of friendship; and
WHEREAS, an honor conferred upon our Sister City reflects favorably upon our
own City and is a cause for public notice; and
WHEREAS, on November 7, 1982, the Mayor of Fourmies
MONSIEUR FERNAND PECHEUX
was received into the Order of the Legion of Honor and made a Knight of that
distinguished cony;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Fridley
express the congratulations of the People of Fridley to Mayor Pecheux and to
the People of Fourmies on the occasion of this great honor and outstanding
recognition.
