A RESOLUTION ORDMUNG IIMPROVEh@7P, APPROVAL OF PLANS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: STREET
IIPAWEMU PRWHCr ND. SP. 1982 -1
MEREAS, Resolution No. 13 - 1982 adopted by the City Council of the City
of Fridley ordered the following improvements:
Heather Place Old Central to the East
Heather Circle Heather Place to the South
Park Drive 69th Avenue to the Community Park
Parking Lot
69th Avenue University Avenue to 69th Place
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That these following improvements proposed by Council Resolutions are
hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably
possible.
That the work involved in said improvements as listed above shall
hereafter be designated as:
STREET WROV91ENT PROJECT Sr. 1982 -1
2. The plans and specifications prepared by the Public Works Director
for such improvements and each of them, pursuant to the Council
resolutions heretofore adopted, a copy of which plans and
specifications are hereto attached and made a part hereof, are hereby
approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk.
The Public Works Director shall accordingly prepare and cause to be
inserted in the official newspaper advertisements for bids upon the making
of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published for three (3) weeks (at least 21 days),
and shall specify the work to be done and will state that bids will be
opened and considered at 11:00 a.m. on the 17th day of March 1982 in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall, and that no bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the Public Works Director and accompanied by
a cash deposit, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City for five
percent (58) of the mount of such bid. That the advertisement for bids
for STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Sr. 1982 -1 shall be substantially in the
standard form.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 1ST DAY
OF FEBRUARY, 1982.
