F 10104 M I, • A RESMMIW ORDERDE IlUAOVBMTj APPROVAL OF PLANS AND ORDERING ADVERTISED "MT 07R BIDS: STREET DR40VE MENT PRG7HLT ST. 1982 -2 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 13 -1981 adopted on the 9th day of February 1981 by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements (73rd Avenue Intersection), as specificially noted in the Notice of Hearing attached thereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice) were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing as noted in said notice; and WHEREAS, Resolution #31 -1981 adopted by the City Council of the City of Fridley ordered all of these improvements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota as follows: 1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolutions are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit: Street improvements, including signalization, grading, stablilized base, hot -'mix bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, water and sanitary sewer services, storm sewer system, and other facilities located as follows: 73rd Avenue Intersection 73rd Avenue at University Avenue That the work involved in said improvements as listed above shall hereafter be designated as: STREET IMPROV94ENT PRGUECT ST. 1982 -2 2. The plans and specifications prepared by the Public Works Director for such improvements and each of them, pursuant to the Council resolutions heretofore adopted, a copy of which plans and specifications are hereto attached and made a part hereof, are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk. The Public Works Director shall accordingly prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper advertisements for bids upon the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three (3) weeks (at least 21 days), and shall specify the work to be done and will state that bids will be opened and considered at 11:00 a.m. on the 17th day of March 1982 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Public Works Director, and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City for five percent (58) of the amount of such bid. That the advertisement for bids for STREET IMPROV91ENT PRQIECP Sr. 1982 -2 shall be substantially in the standard form.
