RES 1981-42 - 0000620079 RESOLUTION NO. 42 - 1981 RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS ST. 1980 -1, 1980 -2, AND 1980 -3 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on April 6, 1981, the City 1 Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of street improvements including concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewer systems, water and sanitary sewer services, and other facilities. WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment roll has been completed and filed in his offfice for public inspection. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall in the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, on the 11th day of May, 1981, at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon the proposed assessment for STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS ST. 1980 -1, 1980 -2, AND 1980 -3 2. The City Clerk shall publish notices of the time and place of meeting in the official newspaper of the City at least two (2) weeks prior to such meeting. INMAN 1280A/0091A s® PAGE 2 -- RESOLUTION NO. 42 - 1981 CITY OF FRIDLEY ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA EXHIBIT "A" NOTICE OF HEARING OF ASSESSMENT FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS ST. 1980 -1, ST. 1980 -2, AND ST. 1980 -3 Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Fridley will meet at the City Hall in said City on the 11th day of May, 1981, at 7:30 p.m., to hear and pass upon all objections, if any, to the proposed assessment in respect to the following improvements, to -wit: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS ST. 1980 -1, 1980 -2, AND 1980 -3 The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is now on file and open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Clerk of said City. At said hearing the Council will consider written or oral objections to the proposed assessments for each of said improvements. Said improvements will be assessed against the properties within the above noted areas in whole or in part proportionately to each of the lands therein contained according to the benefits received. I t ._. _ *r t S1 PAGE 3 -- RESOLUTION NO. 42 - 1981 A property owner may appeal an assessment to the district court by serving notice of appeal upon the City Mayor or Clerk within twenty (20) days after adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the district court within ten (10) days after service upon the Mayor or Clerk.
