RES 1982-84 - 00006062WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Fridley did on December 1, 1980,
submit to the Metropolitan Council copies of the Fridley Comprehensive Plan to
' review; and
WHEREAS, Zhe Metropolitan Council, on its authority under Section 473.175 of
the Metropolitan Land Planning Act, did conduct said review; and
WHEREAS, On February 11, 1982, the Metropolitan Council adopted Resolution No.
32 - 1982 which adopted recomnendations of the Physical Development Committee
regarding the Fridley Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council recamnendations stated that no modifications
are required as authorized in Minnesota Statute 473.175 Subd. 1; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Land Planning Act 473.864 Subd. 1 provides that each
governmental unit shall adopt its Comprehensive Plan within nine months of a
final decision by the Metropolitan Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fridley
hereby adopts its Comprehensive Plan with the modifications noted in Referral
Report No. 81 -260, which correspond to suggestions of the Metropolitan Council
staff.
