RESOLUTION NO. 101 - 1983
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING CITY STAFF
WHEREAS, the Grand Opening celebration which took place on October 7 and 81
1983 was a fitting and appropriate dedication of the new Fridley Community
' Plaza and Fridley Community Park; and
WHEREAS, the success of the Grand Opening celebration was due in large measure
to careful planning and cooperative action by City staff, many of whom
contributed their time and talent without pay; and
WHEREAS, the efforts of City staff caused the City to be presented in a
favorable light to surrounding communities, giving citizens of Fridley ample
reason to be justly proud of the City's accomplishments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Fridley
commend City staff for their outstanding performance in planning and carrying
out the events of the Grand Opening of Fridley Community Plaza and Fridley
Community Park.
