RESOLUTION NO. 111 - 1983
RESOLUTION REQUESTING MODIFICATION OF FY 1983 COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLACK GRANT FUND PROJECTS FROM ANOKA COUNTY
AND THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has received authorization from the County of
Anoka and the Department of Housing and Urban Development for the FY 1983
Projects as submitted by the City Council of the City of Fridley; and
WHEREAS, the City Council in its efforts to serve the needs of the City has
reviewed two additional projects for potential use of FY 1983 Funds; and
WHEREAS, due to the limitations on funds available to the City of Fridley for
project applications, the City Council has reconsidered its funding priorities
with these additional project requests.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley that
the City's application for FY 1983 be modified as follows:
Project No. 328 - Fridley Center City Economic Development Planning -
Be removed as a project for FY 1983.
Project No. 329 - Fridley Moore Lake/North Area Studies - Be modified
to only include the Moore Lake for $7,000.
Project No. 330 - Fridley Rollover Housing Study - Be removed as a
project for FY 1983.
Project No. 331 - Fridley Architectural Barrier Removal - Be modified
to include only that portion for public facilities barrier removal and
the amount of funds be reduced to $25,000.
Project No. 332 - Fridley Commercial Rehab Loans - Be removed as a
project for FY 1983.
It is further requested that the following projects be added to the City's
application for Anoka County and the Department of Housing and Urban
Development's consideration:
Riverview Heights Acquisition Project - $115,000.
