ST. 1983 -1 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 8 -1983 adopted on the 10th day of January, 1983, by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements (66th Avenue N.E.) as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached thereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and, WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of these improvements (66th Avenue N.E.) (as noted in said notice) were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing as noted in said notice: and WHEREAS, the City Council received a resolution from the Fridley Housing and Redevelopment Authority (No. HRA 1 -1982) requesting certain improvements (64th Avenue N.E.) and agreeing to payment of the assessments for these improvements, and WHEREAS, the City Council received a resolution from the Fridley Housing and Redevelopment Authority (No. HRA 2 -1983) requesting certain improvements (City Hall Parking Lot) and agreeing to payment of the assessments for these improvements, and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 11 - 1983 adopted by the City Council of the City of Fridley agreed to construct these improvements (64th Avenue N.E. and City Hall Parking Lot) and to assess the cost of these improvements to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota as follows: 1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No. 7 -1983 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit: Street Improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewer system, and other facilities located as follows: City Hall Parking Lot City Hall 64th Avenue N. E. University Avenue Service Drive to 5th Street 66th Avenue Central Avenue to 900 Feet East 2. That the work to be performed under this project may be performed under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids. n Page 2 — Resolution No. 21 - 1983 3. That the Public Works Director, John G. Flora, City Hall, Fridley, Minnesota, is hereby designated as the Engineer for this improvement.
