WHEREAS, Resolution No. 10 -1983 adopted on the 10th day of January, 1983, by
the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements
(Osborne Road Sidewalk) as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing
attached thereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and,
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed
with the making of these improvements (Osborne Road Sidewalk) as noted in said
notice, were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the
Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice,
and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing
as noted in said notice; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 26 - 1983 adopted by the City Council of the City of
Fridley ordered all of these improvements.
NCI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Rinnesota as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolutions are hereby
ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to- -wit:
Street Improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix
bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewer
system, and other facilities located as follows:
Osborne Road Sidewalk T.H. 65 to Central Avenue
That the work involved in said improvements as listed above shall hereinafter
be included as part of:
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1983 -4
2. The plans and specifications prepared by the Anoka County Highway
Department for such improvements and each of them, pursuant to the Council
Resolutions heretofore adopted are hereby approved and shall be filed with the
City Clerk.
3. The Anoka County Highway Department shall prepare and cause to be inserted
in the official newspaper advertisements for bids upon the making of such
improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published for three (3) weeks (at least 21 days) , and shall specify
the work to be done and will state that bids will be opened and considered by
the Anoka County Highway Department at 10:00 a.m. on the 12th day of April
1983.
