RES 1983-43 - 00005699IM RESOLUTION NO. 43 - 1983 RESOLUTION DIRECTIM PUBLICATION OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR WATER, SANITARY SEWER, AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROTECT NO. 134 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on May 2, 1983, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of water, sanitary ' sewer, storm sewer and appurtenances. WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment roll has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. NOW, THEREMRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall in the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, on the 6th day of June, 1983, at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon the proposed assessment for: WATER, SANITARY SEWER, AND STORM SEWER DURNMIENT PROTECT No. 134 2. The City Clerk shall publish notices of the time and place of meeting in the official newspaper of the City at least two (2) weeks prior to such meeting. NEE - YOR ATTEST: L SIDNEY INMAN - CITY CLERK U 1 Resolution No. 43 - 1983, Exhibit A CITY OF FRIE p ANOKA C)UNTY, MINNESOTA NOTICE OF HEARING OF ASSESSMENT FOR WATER, SANITARY SEWER, AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 134 Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Fridley will meet at the City Hall in said City on the 6th day of June, 1983, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., to hear and pass upon all objections, if any, to the proposed assessments in respect to the following improvement, to-wit: WATER, SANITARY SEWER, AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROTECT NO. 134 The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is now on file and open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Clerk of said City. At said hearing the Council will consider written or oral objections to the proposed assessments for each of said improvements. The general nature of the improvements and each of them is the construction of water mains and services, sanitary sewer laterals and services, storm sewer, and related appurtenances located as follows: Heather Hills West Addition 6175 Central Avenue Northeast The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them is all that land benefited by said improvements or each of them and lying within the general area above noted. Said improvements will be assessed against the properties within the above noted areas in whole or in part proportionately to each of the lands therein contained according to the benefits received. A property owner may appeal an assessment to the district court by serving notice of the appeal upon the City Mayor or Clerk within thirty (30) days after adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the district court within ten (10) days after service upon the City Mayor or Clerk; however, no appeal may be taken as to the amount of any individual assessment unless a written objection signed by the affected property owner is filed with the City Clerk prior to the assessment hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the hearing, DATED MIS - DAY OF -- - -- -- , 1983, BY ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY.
