RES 1983-45 - 00005702RESOLUTION N0. 45 - 1983 RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR WATER AND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 136 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on May 2, 1983, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of water and sewer, storm sewer, and appurtenances. WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment roll has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. NOW, 9HERETORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall in the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, on the 6th day of June, 1983, at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon the proposed assessment for: WATER AND SANITARY SEWER IMPRMMM PROJECT NO. 136 2. The City Clerk shall publish notices of the time and place of meeting in the official newspaper of the City at least two (2) weeks prior to such meeting. MINNESOTA NO'T'ICE OF HEARING OF ASSESSMENT FOR WATER AND SANITARY SEWER � r•• a is •'•• a • Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Fridley will meet at the City Hall in said City on the 6th day of June, 1983, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., to hear and pass upon all objections, if any, to the proposed assessments in respect to the following improvement, to-wit: WATER AND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVMM PROJECT NO. 136 The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is now on file and open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Clerk of said City. At said hearing the Council will consider written or oral objections to the proposed assessments for each of said improvements. The general nature of the improvements and each of them is the construction of water mains and services, sanitary sewer laterals and services, storm sewer, and related appurtenances located as follows: 64th Avenue Northeast University Avenue Service Drive to 5th Street City Hall Parking Lot Starlite Circle Satellite Lane to the North The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them is all that land benefited by said improvements or each of then and lying within the general area above noted. Said improvements will be assessed against the properties within the above noted areas in whole or in part proportionately to each of the lands therein contained according to the benefits received. A property owner may appeal an assessment to the district court by serving notice of the appeal upon the City Mayor or Clerk within thirty (30) days after adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the district court within ten (10) days after service upon the City Mayor or Clerk; however, no appeal nay be taken as to the amount of any individual assessment unless a written objection signed by the affected property owner is filed with the City Clerk prior to the assessment hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the hearing.
