RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF
MINNESOTA, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, TO PROVIDE
INSPECTION SERVICES
WHEREAS, it has been determined to be in the best interests of the City of
' Fridley, Minnesota to enter into an agreement with the State Fire Marshal
Division of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety to provide inspection
services of hotels and motels, and
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley is aware that in order to participate in the
agreement, it must have trained inspectors, and
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has agreed to provide the required training at
no cost to the City of Fridley.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY,
MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to sign an agreement with the
State Fire Marshal Division of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety to
provide inspection services of hotels and motels within the corporate limits
of the City of Fridley.
