RES 1984-104 - 00005532215 RESOLUT13DN NO. 104 - 1984 RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET IMPRWEMENT PROJECT ST. 1984 -1 AND 2 AND ADDENDUM NO. 2, ADDENDUM NO. 3 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on Septanber 10, 1984, the City ' Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of street improvements including grading, stabilized base, hotmix bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewer system, water and sanitary sewer services and other facilities; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment roll has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall in the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, on the 1st day of October, 1984, at 7:30 P.M. to pass upon the proposed assessment for STREET IMPROVE14M PROJECT ST. 1984 -1 AND 2 AND ADDENDUM NO. 2, ADDENDUM NO. 3 2. The City Clerk shall publish notices of the time and place of meeting in the official newspaper of the City at least two (2) weeks prior to such meeting. NEE YOR Page 2 — Resolution No. 104 - 1984 CITY OF FRIDLEY ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA r.! 0 NOTICE OF HEARING OF ASSESSMENT FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROTECT ST. 1984 -1 AND 2 AND ADDENDUM NO. 2, ADDENDUM NO. 3 Notice i.3 hereby given that the Council of the City of Fridley will meet at the City Hall in said City on the 1st day of October, 1984, at 7:30 o'clock ' P.M., to hear and pass upon all objections, if any, to the proposed assessments in respect to the following improvements, to-wit: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1984 -1 AND 2 AND ADDENDUM NO. 2, ADDENDUM NO. 3 The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is now on file and open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Clerk of said City. At said hearing the Council will consider written or oral objections to the proposed assessments for each of said improvements. The general nature of the improvements and each of then is the construction of water and sanitary sewer services and other facilities located as follows: ST. 1984 -1 TH No. 65 East Service Drive 72nd Avenue to 73rd Avenue ST. 1984 -1 (Addendum No. ) 66th Avenue Cul De Sac to Arthur Street Creek Park Lane Central Avenue to Arthur Street ST. 1984 -1 (Addendum No. 31 Capitol Street Main St. to Hughes Avenue T. 1984-2 ( EM) 73rd Avenue Able Street to Stinson Boulevard 77th Avenue BN Railroad Tracks to Main Street The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them is all that land benefited by said improvements or each of then and lying within the general area above noted. Said improvements will be assessed against the properties within the above noted areas in whole or in part proportionately to each of the lands therein contained according to the benefits received. 1 1 Page 3 — Resolution No. 104 - 1984 217 A property owner may appeal an assessment to the district court by serving notice of appeal upon the City Mayor or Clerk within thirty (30) days after adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the district court within ten (10) days after service upon the Mayor or Clerk; however, no appeal may be taken as to the amount of any individual assessment unless a written objection signed by the afecting property owner is filed with the City Clerk prior to the assessment hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the hearing.
