RESOLUTION NO. 18 - 1984
A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF A BILL TO AMEND MINNESOTA
STATUTES REGARDING INCENTIVES FOR NEW DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the State of Minnesota to encourage new
development throughout the state; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City to encourage new development within
the City; and
WHEREAS, both the City and state are losing investments by businesses to
competitive states; and
WHEREAS, it is important to provide appropriate incentives for new development
within the City and state.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Fridley does support the bill
pending in front of the Legislature to amend Minnesota Statutes 1983
Supplement, Section 272.02, Subdivision 1.
