RES 1984-36 - 00005364RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATION TO ENTER
INTO NEGOTIATIONS TO ACQUIRE PROPERTY FOR A F=RE PARK
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that there is a need for a City Park
in the area bounded by Central Avenue on the west, Rice Creek on the north,
Stinson Boulevard on the east and Mississippi Street on the south; and
WHEREAS, outlots 1 and 2 in the Gena Rae Addition and the adjacent street and
cul-de -sac are essential to the development of a City Park in this area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESC,VED by the City Council of the City of Fridley that
the City Administration is authorized to acquire outlots 1 and 2 in the Gena
Rae Addition and the adjacent street and cul -de -sac by negotiation or
condemnation for a future City use.
