A RESOI,U'1ZON AU`1HORIZIWS THE TRANSFER OF $125,000 FROM THE
CAPITAL PROLTECT FUND TO THE MIS FUND
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley MIS Committee has determined that there are many
nonfinancial data processing needs, and
WHEREAS, the MIS Committee has determined that accomplishment of these needs
will make the City's processes more efficient and cost effective, and
WHEREAS, after a review of all alternatives, it shows an in -house computing
system will by far be more efficient and cost effective, and
WHEREAS, the sum of $125,000 will be needed to pay for the initial hardware
and software costs, and
WHEREAS, this amount will be paid back over the next five years at seven
percent interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fridley
authorizes the inner fund transfer of $125,000 from the Capital Project Fund
to the MIS Fund.
