RESOLUTION NO. 7 - 1985
RESOLUTION DEEMIING2 MINIMAL NEED FOR SPECIAL AND EXPRESS
REGULATION OF CERTAIN SAUNAS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley has deemed that there is
minimal need to provide special and express regulation of saunas which are
operated in conjunction with certain swimming pools due to the fact that said
saunas are generally licensed under Chapter 116 of this code and due to the
belief that these types of saunas are generally not susceptible to operation
as a site for acts of prostitution, illicit sex and occasions of violent
crimes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley that
Section 116.02 of the Fridley City Code be amended by Ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 21ST DAY OF
JANUARY, 1985.
