RES 1985-35 - 00005133US RESCLUTION NO. 35 - 1985 A RESMUPION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT, APPROVAL OF PLANS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: WATER & SANITARY SEWER PROJECT 4150 WHEREAS, the City Council received a petition from 100 percent of the property ' owners whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of these improvements (73 1/2 Avenue and Ashton Avenue) requesting the construction of these improvements; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 34 - 1985 adopted by the City Council of the City of Fridley ordered all of these improvenents. NON, TdEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota as follows: 1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolutions are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit: Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, water and sanitary sewer services, storm sewer systen, and other facilities located as follows: 73 1/2 Avenue Cul-de -sac to 110' west Ashton Avenue 52nd Way to Industrial Blvd. That the work involved in said improvements as listed above shall hereafter be designated as: WATER & SANITARY SEWER PROJECT #150 ' 2. The plans and specifications prepared by the Public Works Department for such improvements and each of them, pursuant to the Council resolutions heretofore adopted, are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk. The Public Works Director shall accordingly prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper advertisements for bids upon the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three (3) weeks (at least 21 days) , and shall specify the work to be done and will state that bids will be opened and considered at 11:00 a.m. on the 1st day of May, 1985 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and f iled with the Public Works Director, and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City for five percent (58) of the amount of such bid.
