RESCLDTION NO. 95 - 1985
RESMUTION DESIGNATING THE MINNEAPOLIS STAR AM TRIBE AS
THE CITY OF FRIDLEY'S SECDND OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER FOR THE
YEAR 1985
WHEREAS, the City Council has designated the Fridley Focus Newspaper as the
legal newspaper of the City of Fridley for the year 1985, in accordance with
Section 12.01 of the Charter of the City of Fridley; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley frequently has official business for publication
occurring after the weekly deadline established by the Fridley Focus
Newspaper; and
WHEREAS, the Minneapolis Star and Tribune is a published daily readily
available and distributed in the City of Fridley; and
WHEREAS, the Minneapolis Star and Tribune allows for items to be published on
• daily basis, thus enabling the City of Fridley to publish public notices in
• more timely manner; and
NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESCUED that the City Council officially designate the
Minneapolis Star and Tribune as the City of Fridley's second official
newspaper for the year 1985.
