Mayor Nee stated appropriate notices were c�iven Por this Specia2 N�eetinr� for
the pur�ses of oonsidering the awarding oi the contr�cts ior L-eprovenent
Pro�ects No. 163 and 162 for the Lake RairiL-e Corporata c]evelo�ment, a�vering
the danolition and site qrad�nq and the warer anc] saiutary �wer.
Mr. Dave Naaman, Assista� City Attorrey, stateu� there may be sor�le risk of
the City aaarding these contracts, if plans and contracts have noL been
firalized between the developer and the Housing & Redevelognerit Authority.
Mr. Ncivman felt the City had several options, one was to see iS: the biclders
are willing to extend the�r bads an additional 30 days, proceed to awarC the
b2ds, or to xe�ect the bids.
NDTIDN � Councilman Schneider to direct the ac,rninistration to see ii the
bidders are w�11Lng to extend the�.r bids foc Pra�ect IQo. 163, de�nolition and
site grading, and Pro�ect I�o. 162, water and samtary sewer, to Scly 15,
1986 and the completion dates extended accorc�inyly. If this cannct be
accomplished, the bids are to be re�ected and re-advertisec3 for these
pro�ects. Seconded by Councilman Fitz�trick. Upon a voice votc, ail
voting aye, Mayor Nee declared the motion carrieci unanimously.
