A RESCLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT FOR THE MAR -LEN PLAT
FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST 1986 -1 & 2
WHEREAS, Mar -Len Development Corporation entered into an agreement with the
City of Fridley for certain improveents; and
WHEREAS, Mar -Len Development has requested that all assessments for these
improvements be placed against Lot 3, Block 1, Mar -Len Addition, per the
attached assessment agreement; and
WHEREAS, Mar -Len Development Corporation /AMR Freight Systems, Inc. have waived
any right to notice and public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said assessment per the attached
assessment agreement so affirmed, adopted and confirmed, shall be certified to
by the City Clerk and filed in her office and shall thereupon be and
constitute the special assessments for
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1986 -1 & 2
(81ST AVENUE, MAIN STREET TO HICKORY STREET)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the amounts assessed against each of the lots per the
assessment agreement shall bear interest from the date hereto until the same
have been paid at the rate of nine (9 %) percent per annun.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, such assessments shall be payable in 3 annual
installments, payable on the first day of January of each year, beginning in
1987, and continuing until all of said installments shall have been paid, each
installment to be collected with taxes collectible during said year by the
County Auditor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City Clerk is hereby directed to make up and file
in the office of the County Auditor of Anoka County a certif ied statement of
the amount of all such unpaid asessments and the amount which will be due
thereon on the first day of January in each year.
