RES 1986-87 - 000049311 n 175 RESOLUTION NO. 87 - 1986 RESOLUTION TO CONTINUE WITH THE CURBSIDE RECYCLING PROGRAM FOR FRIDLEY WITH A NEW CONTRACTOR WHEREAS, the Fridley Curbside Recycling program has been operating successfully for over 1 year; and WHEREAS, in the year 1988 solid waste separation will become mandatory for all residents; and WHEREAS, adequate funding to support the Fridley Curbside Recycling program will be provided through Anoka County, the Metropolitan Council and the City's waste oil recycling program; and WHEREAS, Fridley advertised for bids and received a bid from Super Cycle for $1,500 /month for 10 months or $15,000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley that the City should contract with Super Cycle to continue to operate the "Friday in Fridley" Curbside Recycling program until June 30, 1987 when a new contract can be negotiated.
