A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF RE14AINING FUNDS
FROM THE CIVIC CENTER DEBT SERVICE FUND TO THE CIVIC
CENTER REMODELING CAPITAL PROJECT FUND
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley established in 1965, the Civic Center Debt
Service Fund to account for the servicing of debt associated with the building
of the Civic Center: and
WHEREAS, the payment of all bonds and related interest was completed during
1986; and
WHEREAS, the funds accumulated were for the intended purpose of providing
financial means for construction of a municipal building; and
WHEREAS, any remaining balance as of December 31, 1987 should be used for
capital improvement on the same structure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Fridley
authorized the transfer of any remaining funds in the Civic Center Debt
Service as of December 31, 1986 to the Civic Center Remodeling Capital Project
Fund.
