RESOLUTION NO. 20 - 1987
RESOLUTION REFUSING THE METROPOLITAN WASTE CONTROL
COMMISSION'S (MWCC) SERVICE AVAILABILITY CHARGE (SAC)
REFUND PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Waste Control Canmission had required municipalities
to collect Service Availability Charges (SAC), and
WHEREAS, the City has collected SAC for all construction within its limits,
and
WHEREAS, the MCC has passed their Resolution 86 -261 approving a SAC refund
program, and
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley is fully severed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley that
the SAC refund option authorized by the MWCC will not be implemented by the
City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 23RD DAY OF
FEBRUARY, 1987
