WHEREAS, the Fridley City Council on August 18, 1986 approved the concept of
the Mediation Project; and
WHEREAS, the Mediation Center would offer mediation services to City residents
that are now being handled by the court system, the Police Department, the
City Attorney, the Public Works Department, or the Planning Department; and
WHEREAS, this expenditure would cover a twelve month operating period for the
Mediation Center; and
WHEREAS, the amount of $1,500 would be paid to Mediation Services for
mediation services to Anoka County.
NUW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Fridley City Council does hereby
approve a supplemental reappropriation of $1,500 initially budgeted in the
Emergency Reserve Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the $1,500 be placed in the Legislative Department
' Budget.
