RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR THE
MEDIATION SERVICES FOR ANOKA COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Fridley City Council on August 18, 1986 approved the concept of
the Mediation Project; and
WHEREAS, the Mediation Services for Anoka County offers mediation services to
City residents that are now being handled by the court system, the Police
Department, the City Attorney, the Public Works Department, or the Planning
Department; and
WHEREAS, funding for the remaining months of 1987 is falling short even though
adequate resources from Cities, Anoka County, and private sources are
anticipated or already committed for 1988;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Fridley City Council does hereby
approve a supplemental reappropriation of $1,500.00 initially budgeted in the
Emergency Reserve Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the $1,500.00 be placed in the Legislative
Department Budget, to be paid to Mediation Services for Anoka County.
