'I`he Speci�l Meeting of the FridlEy City Council was called to order at
8:OD a.m, by Mayor Nee.

1. CL�NDUCPING OF IlVPEAVIEWS FOR Tf� CITY MANAGEI2 CANDIDATES
Mr. Paul A. ReaLUne, Corisultant from The Par Group, explained the
general procedure for intesviEwing candidates along with a selection
of quzstions used in the intervi�as. The order of candidates wcre as
follavs: 9:D0 a.m. James L. Andre, 10:00 a.m. Terry L. Sharp, and
1:00 p.m. William W. Burns. A box lunch was provicled and the
intenrlews cnntinued at 4:00 p.m. Patrick J. Reilly. The intexviews
ended at 5:30. A Social Hour for the Councilmembers and Canclidates
was conducted frcan 6:30 to 8:30 p.m, at the 57tywood Inn Bancluet P.crnz.

� NY)TION by Councilman Billings to ad�ourn the meeting. Seconded by
Councilman Fitz�trick. Upon a voice vote, a11 voting aye, Mayor Nee
declared the motion carried unanunously and the special �eting of the
Fridl�y City Council of August 19, 1988, adjourned at 8:30 p.m. to be
continued on Saturday, August 20, 1988 at 8.30 a.m.
