FIRE STATION
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has authority to acquire property by eminent domain
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.445, and the Fridley City
Ordinances, Chapter 117, and under its Hone Rule Charter; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the public's interest to condemn
the following described property pursuant to the City's power of eminent domain
to develop this property as a satellite fire station:
Lot 2, Block 1, AUS Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Attorney be specifically authorized
to take possession pursuant to M.S.A. 117.042 and to take all other actions
necessary and desirable to carry out the purposes of this Resolution.
