RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF
FRIDLEY AND RECIPIENTS OF 1987 FEDERAL COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR HUMAN SERVICES
ORGANIZATIONS
WHEREAS, Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) monies have been
made available to the City of Fridley; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 6, 1987, the Fridley City Council authorized
the expenditure of $32,954.00 to ten (10) human services organizations; and
WHEREAS, Anoka County Officials administering the CDBG funds require that the
City enter into a contract with each provider of services; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 19, 1987, the Fridley City Council passed
Resolution No. 82 - 1987 which authorized an agreement between the City of
Fridley and Anoka County Community Action Program, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, agreements have not yet been made with the other nine (9) providers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Fridley
authorize the Mayor and the City Manager to execute agreements between the
City of Fridley and the following organizations for the provision of human
services in accordance with Federal CDBG regulations:
