RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE POSTING OF "NO PARKING" SIGNS
ON RICE CREEK ROAD - a.k.a. 61ST AVENUE (M.S.A.S. 302)
BETWEEN TRUNK HIGHWAY 65 AND CENTRAL AVENUE
WHEREAS, the "City" is planning the improvement of Rice Creek Road from T.H.
65 to Central Avenue: and
WHEREAS, the "City" will be expending Municipal State Aid Funds on this Street
Improvement Project - ST. 1988 -2; and
WHEREAS, the planned improvement does not provide adequate width for parking
on either side of the street, approval of the proposed construction as a
Municipal State Aid Street project must therefore be conditioned upon parking
restriction: and
WHEREAS, the extent of these restrictions that would be a necessary
prerequisite to the approval of this construction as a Municipal State Aid
project in the "City ", has been determined.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Fridley that the City is hereby
authorized to post "NO PARKING" signs on both sides of the above -named street
' between T.H, 65 and Central Avenue upon completion of the Street Improvement
Project ST. 1988 -2.
