RESOLUTION NO. 62 - 1988
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND APPROVAL OF PLANS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: STREET IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. ST. 1988 -4
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 46 -1988 adopted June 6, 1988, by the City Council
ordered a public hearing on the proposed improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on July 11, 1988, on the
matter of the construction of certain improvements to Osborne Road from East
River Road to Main Street; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 61 -1988 adopted on the 25th day of July, 1988, by the
City Council, ordered the improvement and final plans, specifications and
estimates of the costs thereof for the improvements to Osborne Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolutions are hereby
ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous
mat, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, water and sanitary sewer services,
storm sewer system, landscaping including brick median paving, lighting,
signals, and other facilities located as follows:
OSBORNE ROAD FROM EAST RIVER ROAD TO MAIN STREET
That the work involved in said improvements as listed above shall hereafter be
designated as:
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1988 -4
2. The plans and specifications prepared by the Anoka County Highway
Department for such improvements and each of them pursuant to the Council
resolutions heretofore adopted, are hereby approved and shall be filed with
the City Clerk.
3. The Anoka County Highway Department shall accordingly prepare and cause to
be inserted in the official newspaper advertisements for bids upon the making
of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications.
