RESOLUTION RENAMING THAT PART OF RICE CREEK ROAD BETWEEN
HIGHWAY #65 AND CENTRAL AVENUE
WHEREAS, this portion of Rice Creek Road runs generally in an eastwest
direction; and
WHEREAS, this portion of Rice Creek Road has addresses that are in the 1200's;
and
WHEREAS, the Police and Fire Departments of the City of Fridley concur with
the proposed name change for this portion of roadway; and
WHEREAS, the development owners have requested the name change for this
portion of the roadway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
SECTION 1. That part of Rice Creek Road, lying between Highway #65 and
Central Avenue be renamed East Moore Lake Drive N.E.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to register said street name
change with the proper authorities for Anoka County and notify the
appropriate postal authorities and all other interested parties.
