WHEREAS, it has been deemed advisable and necessary for the City of Fridley to
participate in the cost of signal improvement project located on C.S.A.H. No.
1 (East River Road) within the limits of said municipality; and
WHEREAS, said construction project has been identified and recorded as S.A.P.
02- 601 -34; and
WHEREAS, the project has been agreed to by the County of Anoka and the City of
Fridley with a 50 percent /50 percent cost participation arrangement. The
anticipated City share is $54,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Fridley hereby appropriates
from our Municipal State Aid Funds the sum of $54,000 dollars to apply toward
the construction of said signal improvement project and request the
Commissioner of the Department of Transportation to approve this
authorization.
