1 RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING MUNICIPAL STATE -AID
FUNDS TO A MUNICIPAL OFF - SYSTEM PROJECT
WHEREAS, it has been deemed advisable and necessary for the City
of Fridley to participate in the reconstruction of Mississippi
Street between Main Street and 5th Street to further enhance the
proposed intersection improvement of Trunk Highway 47 and
Mississippi Street, and
WHEREAS, said construction project is being submitted to the
Minnesota Department of Transportation State Aid office and
identified in its records as C.S.A.P. 02- 606 -08 and M.S.A.P.
127- 020 -09.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Fridley that an appropriation from the Municipal State -Aid Funds
in the amount of $900,000.00 be made to apply toward certain right -
of -way costs and the construction of said project and request the
Commissioner of the Department of Transportation to approve this
appropriation.
