A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT, APPROVAL OF PLANS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: STREET IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. ST. 1990 - 1 (OVERLAY)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley as
follows:
1. That it appears in the interests of the City and of the property owners
affected that there be constructed certain improvements to -wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous mat,
concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, water and sanitary sewer services, storm
sewer system, and other facilities located as follows:
ALL OR PORTIONS OF
CREEK PARK LANE
66TH AVENUE
HICKORY STREET
HEATHER PLACE
HEATHER CIRCLE
That the work involved in said improvements listed above shall hereafter be
designated as:
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. ST. 1990 - 1
1. The plans and specifications prepared by the Public Works Department for
such improvement and each of them, pursuant to the Council action heretofore,
are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk.
2. The work to be performed under STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. ST. 1990 - 1
(OVERLAY) be performed under one contract.
The Public Works Director shall accordingly prepare and cause to be inserted in
the official newspaper advertisement for bids upon the making of such
improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published for two (2) weeks (at least 10 days), and shall specify the
work to be done and will state that bids will be opened at 11:30 a.m. on
Wednesday, April 11, 1990, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, and that
no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Public Works
Director and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, or certified check payable
to the City of Fridley for five percent (5 %) of the amount of such bid. That
the advertisement for bids for STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1990 - 10 shall
be substantially standard in form.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 26TH DAY OF
FEBRUARY, 1990.
