RES 1991-55 - 00003692RESOLUTION NO. 55 - 1991 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF FRIDLEY AND RECIPIENTS OF 1991 FEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR HUMAN SERVICES ORGANIZATIONS WHEREAS, 1991 Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) monies have been made available to the City of Fridley; and WHEREAS, Anoka County Officials administering CDBG funds require that the City enter into a contract with each provider of services; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 6, 1991, the Fridley Human Resources Commission recommended 1991 CDBG funding to human service organizations as listed below; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY authorizes the Mayor and the City Manager to execute agreements between the City of Fridley and the following organizations for the provision of human services in accordance with Federal CDBG regulations: Organization Amount Purpose Southern Anoka Community Direct financial Assistance $ 7,588 assistance ACCAP Fridley Senior Center Alexandra House Central Center for Family Resources North Suburban Counseling Center Fridley School District #14 Community Emergency Assistance Program (CEAP) Arc of Anoka County 5,100 Senior Outreach Worker 4,500 Senior Companion & Chore Services Programs 4,000 Hospital Advocacy Program 3,400 Counseling services 3,400 Counseling services 2,500 GED Program 1(Adult Education) Direct financial 2,000 assistance 2,000 Recreation services program 75 Page 2 -- Resolution No. 55 - 1991 Organization Amount Purpose Northwest Youth & Family Services $ 1,500 Youth health services Fridley School District #14 1,347 Summer Adventure Program North Suburban Consumer Advocates for the Handicapped Disability awareness (NSCAH) 1,000 education program Northwest Suburban Kinship Children's kinship Program 500 program PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 22ND DAY OF JULY, 1991. way WILLIAM J.
