PROJECT TdN30LUTXCN CRDERIM IMPROVEMENT AND APPROVAL
AND ORDERIM ADVERTISEMENT FOR EMS: STREET IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 35 - 1992 ordered the preliminary plans, specifications
and estimates of the costs thereof for the improvements in this project, and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 36 - 1992 received the Preliminary Engineering Report
and set a public hearing for the improvements in this project, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 4, 1992, regarding this project, and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 41 - 1992 ordered the improvement and final plans and
specifications and estimates of cost for the improvements in this project, and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 47 - 1992 ordered the improvement and final plans and
specifications and estimates of cost and amended Street Improvement Project No.
ST. 1992 -1 & 2 by adding certain streets.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No. 35 -
1992 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably
possible, to wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot-mix bituminous mat,
concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, bikeways, water and sanitary sewer
services, storm sewer system, landscaping, and other facilities located as
follows:

That the work involved in said improvements as listed above shall hereafter be

2. The plans and specifications prepared by the Public Works Department for
such improvements and each of them pursuant to the Council resolutions
heretofore adopted, a copy of which plans and specifications are hereto
attached and made a part thereof, are hereby approved and shall be filed
with City Clerk.
The Public Works Director shall accordingly prepare and cause to be inserted in
the official newspaper advertisements for bids upon the making of such
inprovements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published for (3) three weeks (at least 21 days), and shall specify the
work to be done and will state the bids will be opened and considered at 11:00
A.M. ON THE 12TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1992, in the Council Chambers of the Fridley
Municipal Center and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed
with the Public Works Director and acconpanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, or
certified check payable to the City for five percent (5 %) of the amount of such
bid. That the advertisement for bids for STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. ST.
1992 - 1 & 2 shall be substantially in the standard form.

JULY, 1992.
