RES 1992-58 - 00003496161 RESOLUTION NO. 5S - 1992 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF FRIDLEY AND RECIPIENTS OF 1992 -93 FEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR HUMAN SERVICES ORGANIZATIONS WHEREAS, 1992 -93 Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) monies have been made available to the City of Fridley; and WHEREAS, Anoka County Officials administering CDBG funds require that the City enter into a contract with each provider of services; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 6, 1992, the Fridley Human Resources Commission recommended 1992 -93 CDBG funding to human service organizations as listed below; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY authorizes the Mayor and the City Manager to execute agreements between the City of Fridley and the following organizations for the provision of human services in accordance with Federal CDBG regulations: Organization Amount Purpose Southern Anoka Community Assistance $6,504 Food shelf Community Emergency Assistance Program (LEAP) $2,000 St. William's Church ACCAP Fridley Senior Center Alexandra House Central Center for Family Resources North Suburban Counseling Center Family Life Mental Health Center $1,000 $5,100 $5,000 $4,000 $3,000 $3,000 $3,000 Food shelf Food shelf Senior Outreach Worker Senior Companion & Chore Services Programs Hospital Advocacy Program Counseling services Counseling services Counseling services 162 Page 2 -- Resolution No. 58 - 1992 Organization Amount Purpose Arc of Anoka County $1,000 Family support services Northwest Youth & Family Services $1,500 Youth health services Anoka County Career Consortium $ 500 Career counseling PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 17TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1992. r WILLIAM J.
