' RESOLUTION AZT ERIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH mm m neamm
DEPARMaM OF TRANSPORTATION (MnDOT) FOR SIGNAL LIGHT
IMP'ROVEIENT ON T.H. 47 AT 5310 AVENUE, 57TH AVENUE AND
61ST AVENUE (AMUMMU NO. 69741) - SAP NO'S 127-319 -
03, 127 - 301 -03 AND 127 -302 -12 (ST. 1992 -5)
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley is interested in improving the safety and traffic
movements along T.H. 47 in Fridley; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is proposing to improve
signalization on T.H. 47 between 37th Avenue and 85th Avenue and has prepared
Agreement No. 69741 for these improvements including the removal of existing
traffic control signals and installation of new traffic signals with street
lights, emergency vehicle pre- en- ption, interconnect and internally lit signing
on T.H. 47 at the above mentioned locations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of Fridley
hereby authorizes the appropriate City officers to execute said Agreement No.
69741 between MnDOT and the City of Fridley.
