RES 1992-71 - 00003522187 RESOLUTION NO. 71 - 1992 ' RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STONYBROOK CREEK DIVERSIONe PROJECT NO. 229 WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property owners affected thereby. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley as follows: 1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolutions are hereby ordered to be affected and completed as required: CONSTRUCTION OF STONYBROOK CREEK DIVERSION 2. The plans and specifications under the direction of the Public Works Director for such improvements are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk. The Public Works Director shall accordingly prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper advertisements for bids upon ' the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for two (2) weeks (at least 14 days), and shall specify the work to be done and will state that the bids will be opened and considered at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, the 30th day of September, 1992, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Public works Director. That the advertisement for bids for construction of the Stonybrook Creek Diversion shall be substantially in the standard form.
