' RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF FRIDLEY TO ENTER INTO

TRANSPORTATION FOR SIGNAL LIGHT IMPROVEMENT ON 731D
AVENUE N.E. AT T.H. 47 (UNIVERSITY AVE) AND T.H. 65
(CENTRAL) (AGREEMENT NO. 70256 (S.P. 0205 -57 AND 0207 -
57)
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley is interested in improving the safety and traffic
movements along T.H. 47 (University Avenue) and T.H. 65 (Central Avenue) in
Fridley; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is proposing to improve
signalization on 73rd Avenue at T.H. 47 (University Avenue) and T.H. 65 (Central
Avenue) has prepared Agreement No. 70256 for these improvements including the
removal of existing traffic control signals and installation of new traffic
signals with street lights, emergency vehicle pre- emption, and internally lit
signing on T.H. 47 (University Avenue) at 73rd Avenue Northeast, and on TH 65
(Central Avenue) at 73rd Avenue Northeast in accordance with the terms and
conditions set forth and contained in Agreement No. 70256.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of Fridley
hereby authorizes the appropriate City officers to execute said Agreement No.
' 70256 between YTMM and the City of Fridley.
