RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MUNICIPAL SPATE AID FuNDs TO DEFRAY CITY COSTS
FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS ON 73RD AVENUE AT T.H. 47 (UNIVERSITY AVE)
AND T.H. 65 (CENTRAL AVE)
WHMMS, it has been deemed advisable and necessary for the City of Fridley to enter into
an agreement with MN /DOT for the improvement of traffic control signals (agreement No.
70256), and
WHEREAS, said improvement will include the removal of existing traffic control signals
and install new traffic control signals with street lights, emergency vehicle pre- emtion,
and internally lit signing on Trunk Highway No. 47 (University Avenue) and 73rd Avenue
Northeast, and on Trunk Highway No. 65 (Central Avenue) at 73rd Avenue Northeast in
Fridley, and
WHEREAS, said improvement project will be awarded by MN /DOT and identified as S.P. 0205-
57 and 0207 -57.
NOW, THIItE ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley that State Aid
Funds will be used to defray City costs and the inprovement project be identified as
follows:
1. T.H. 47 at 73rd Avenue:
S.P. 0205 -57. F.P. STP 5425(14), S.A.P. 127- 307 -10, S.A.P. 127 -308 -2 and S.A.P. 127-
010-07.
2. T.H. 65 at 73rd Avenue:
S.P. 0207 -57. F.P. STP 005 - 2(106), S.A.P. 127- 307 -10 and S.A.P. 127 - 010 -08.
