RESOLUTION NO. 42 - 1993
I RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE POSTING OF "NO PARKING" SIGNS
ON ONE SIDE OF CERTAIN MSAS STREETS
WHEREAS, the "City" has planned the improvement of the following MSAS street
segment as a result of the TCAAP watermain project (Project No. 248):
Benjamin Street - Gardena Avenue to Rice Creek Road
WHEREAS, the "City" will be expending Municipal State Aid Funds on Project No.
248, and
WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both
sides of the street, approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State
Aid Street project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking
restrictions, and
WHEREAS, the extent of these restrictions that would be a necessary prerequisite
to the approval of this construction as a Municipal State Aid project in the
"City ", has been determined.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley that
the City is hereby authorized to post "No Parking" signs on one side of the
streets as noted below upon completion of Project No. 248.
