RES 1993-69 - 0000326292 ' RESOLUTION NO. 69 - 1993 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS FOR THE LOCKE PARK FILTER PLANT REPAIR, PROJECT NO. 240 WHEREAS, the Locke Park sand filters have been damaged and are no longer functioning properly, and WHEREAS, Maier Stewart & Associates (MSA) has been retained to prepare plans and specifications for the repair and upgrade of the Locke Park filters, and WHEREAS, the 1993 budget has identified a capital improvement of $725,000 for the Locke Park filter plant repair, and WHEREAS, the TCAAP Interconnect project incorporates a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system which is to be installed in the Locke Park filter plant, and WHEREAS, MSA has completed the plans for the Locke Park filter plant repair, and WHEREAS, it is prudent to repair the facility and coordinate the construction projects within the facility at the same time. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of Fridley, ' Anoka County, Minnesota, the Public Works Director, John G. Flora, is authorized to advertise for bids for the Locke Park Filter Plant Repair project No. 240. PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 13TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1993.
