RES 1993-82 - 00003282WIN ' RESOLUTION NO. 82 - 1993 A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF: 64TH AVENUE STORM WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 260 WHEREAS, Petition 13 -1993 and Petition 16 -1993 were received by the City Council requesting this storm water improvement, and WHEREAS, a public hearing on this improvement was held on September 13 and 27, 1993, and WHEREAS, the Council has agreed to assess $1,000 to each of the existing parcels for this improvement within the area bounded by Mississippi Street, Harris Pond ditch, Arthur Street, and Central Avenue, and WHEREAS, any future lot splits within this area will be assessed $1,000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley as follows: 1. That it appears in the interests of the City and of the property owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements to -wit: ' Storm sewer improvements, including concrete piping, catch basins, storm pond excavation, and other facilities located as follows: New Construction 64th Ave Storm from Mississippi Street to the Central Avenue culvert Pipe at the Harris Pond ditch and a detention pond That the work involved in said improvements listed above shall hereafter be designated as: 64TH AVENUE STORM WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 260 2. That the Public Works Director, John G. Flora, City Hall, Fridley, MN, is hereby authorized and directed to draw the preliminary plans and specifications and to tabulate the results of his estimates of the costs of said improvements, including every item of cost from inception to completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of his findings stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements (and the estimated cost as recommended), including also a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be assessed. 108 ' Page 2 -- Resolution No. 82 - 1993 3.
