RESOLUTION NO. 11 - 1994
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SPECIFICATIONS, AND ORDERING
THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT ENGINE
COMPANY (CLASS A PUMPER)
WHEREAS, the purchase of a fire department engine company (class A pumper) is
deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Fridley,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That the purchase of a Class A pumper, fire department engine
company, is hereby ordered to be effected.
2. The specifications prepared by the Fire Department are hereby
approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk.
3. The Fire Department Chief shall prepare and cause to be inserted in
the official newspaper, advertisements for bids for the manufacture
and delivery to the City of said Class A pumper fire truck, as
described in said specifications. The advertisement shall be
published for three (3) weeks (at least 21 days), and will state
that the bids will be opened and considered at 10:00 a.m, on the 4th
day of March, 1994, and that no bids will be considered unless
sealed and filed with the Fridley Fire Chief. That the
advertisement for bids shall be substantially in the standard form.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 18TH DAY OF
JANUARY. 1994.
