RESOLUTION NO. 33 - 1994
' RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT, FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: CONCRETE STREET REPAIR - NORTH AND SOUTH
INNSBRUCK AREA PROJECT NO. ST. 1994 — 7
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 32 — 1994 ordered the preliminary plans, specifications
and estimates of the costs thereof for the improvements in this project, and
WHEREAS, there are no assessments on this maintenance work and a public hearing
on the matter of the construction is not required for this project, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined a need to reconstruct certain streets
to maintain them in a safe condition and at a reasonable cost.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No. 32 -
1994 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as
reasonably possible, to -wit:
Street improvements, including concrete street panel removal and replacement,
traffic control and restoration, grading, stabilized base, hot mix bituminous
mat, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer system, landscaping, and other
facilities.
2. That the North and South Innsbruck concrete streets be incorporated in
the 1994 Street Improvement Project No. ST. 1994 -7:
CONCRETE STREET REPAIR NORTH AND SOUTH INNSBRUCK AREA
3. That the work to be performed under this project may be performed under
one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
4. That the Public Works Director, John G. Flora, City Hall, Fridley,
Minnesota, is hereby designated as the Engineer for this improvement. He
shall prepare final plans and specifications for the making of such
improvements.
