RESOLUTION NO. 45 - 1994
RESOLUTION ORDERING FINAL PLANS AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STINSON
BOULEVARD STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. ST. 1993 - 7
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 20 - 1994 ordered the preliminary plans, specifications
and estimates of the costs thereof for the improvements in this project, and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 21 - 1994 received the preliminary report and called for a
public hearing on the matter of improvements for this project, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 21, 1994 regarding this project, and
WHEREAS, Petition No. 4 - 1993 was received requesting the street on the petition
be added to the City's 1994 street reconstruction program, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined a need to reconstruct the street to
maintain it in a safe condition and at a reasonable cost, and
WHEREAS, a Joint Powers Agreement between the cities of Fridley and Mounds View
has been executed for construction and funding of this improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution 20 - 1994 are
hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible,
to -wit:
Street improvements including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous
mat, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer system, water and sewer services,
landscaping, and other facilities.
2. That the following street be incorporated in the 1994 street improvement
projects as ST. 1993 - 7:
Stinson Boulevard between 73rd Avenue and Osborne Road
3. That the work to be performed under this project may be performed under one or
more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
4. That the Public Works Director, John C. Flora, City Hall, Fridley, Minnesota,
is hereby designated as the Engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare
final plans and specifications for the making of such improvements.

MAY, 1994.
