RES 1994-46 - 0000305359 ' RESOLUTION NO. 46 - 1994 RESOLUTION RECEIVING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: STINSON BOULEVARD STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. ST. 1993 - 7 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 20 - 1994 ordered the preliminary plans, specifications and estimates of the costs thereof for the improvements in this project, and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 21 - 1994 received the preliminary engineering report and set a public hearing for the improvements in this project, and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 21, 1994 regarding this project, and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 45 - 1994 ordered final plans and estimates of costs for this project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No. 20 - 1994 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit: Street improvements including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer system, water and sanitary sewer services, landscaping, and other facilities located as follows: Reconstruction Stinson Boulevard Between 73rd Avenue and Osborne Road That the work involved in said improvements as listed above shall hereafter be designed as: STINSON BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. ST. 1993 - 7 2. The plans and specifications prepared by the Public Works Department for such improvements and each of them pursuant to the Council resolutions heretofore adopted, a copy of which plans and specifications are hereto attached and made a part thereof, are hereby approved and shall be filed with City Clerk. The Public Works Director shall accordingly prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper advertisements for bids upon the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three (3) weeks (at least 21 days), and shall specify ' the work to be done and will state the bids will be opened and considered in the Council Chambers of the Fridley Municipal Center and that no bids will be ATTEST: WILLIAM A. CHAMPA - CITYI LERK 60 Page 2 -- Resolution No. 46 - 1994 considered unless sealed and filed with the Public Works Director and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City for five percent (5 %) of the amount of such bid. That the advertisement for bids for STINSON BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. ST. 1993 - 7 shall be substantially in the standard form.
